What is duo?

duo is an independent Nintendo DS emulator designed around the folding display of iPhone Duo. It pairs two screens with a carefully crafted console skin and a home for your imported games.

Which devices does it support?

The first release is made for iPhone Duo. Other devices show a compatibility message. We plan to expand device support later.

Are games included?

No. You bring your own compatible .nds files and import them through the Files picker. Only use game files you have the right to use. duo doesn’t sell or provide game downloads.

Does it play Nintendo 3DS games?

No. This release focuses on Nintendo DS games. Nintendo 3DS and other systems are not supported.

When can I download it?

duo is being prepared for its first App Store release. It isn’t available to download yet. We’ll add the App Store link here when it’s ready.

How does cover art work?

duo reads a game identifier on your device, matches it to a bundled catalog, and requests the matching cover from a GitHub-hosted artwork collection. Your game file isn’t uploaded. Read more in our privacy policy.
